- Product is based upon variety of chipsets. However, the one you probably
- are referencing is TI chipset licensed by U.S. Robotics to TI and then to
- GVC,
- ASKEY and other Taiwan companies. It appears to be same as U.S.R.
- version. The major question is how will Rockwell and their customers
- respond
- Rockwell has about 70% share in fax modem chipsets and has not released
- 33.6 yet. Also, despite comments and semantics you see 33.6 is not yet
- a standard. It also allows only up to 115,200 max from what I have seen
- on
- these products.
